But, I’m going to say it right now: I dislike the given cable; it feels hard, cheap, and reminds me of fiber-optic.

The KZ ZS12 Pro X IEMs sit quite well in both your inner and outer ear thanks to the looped over-ear cable; with continuous use, I didn’t notice any tiredness or uncomfortable heat concerns, and the weight of the IEMs does not make for an uncomfortable listening experience.
Now consider the sound quality. So, what can I say. Only…they sound fantastic! Certainly one of, if not the best, IEMs I’ve had the pleasure of testing while completing this review. With extremely low distortion, the ZS12 Pro X authentically reproduces every audio element. From the deepest bass to the most delicate treble, it produces an amazingly accurate and realistic soundstage. Immerse yourself in music in the way the artist intended.
I also noticed no lag between audio and lip sync while watching video.
