It’s time to be prepared for the release of Apple visionOS 2.4, one of the most major updates for the Vision Pro. This upgrade will include Apple Intelligence compatibility, a brand-new Spatial Gallery app, a companion iPhone app, and changes to Guest mode, enhancing the Vision Pro experience even further.
Apple Intelligence comes to Vision Pro
VisionOS 2.4 allows you to use Apple Intelligence on your Vision Pro for the first time. The update will include essential tools like Writing Tools to help you improve your writing, Image Playground to develop fun and distinctive images, and Genmoji to create personalized emojis. These AI-powered tools were initially released on the iPhone in December 2024, with the iOS 18.2 upgrade, and they are now available to Vision Pro users.
Explore immersive content with Spatial Gallery
The update also includes a brand-new app, Spatial Gallery. This app contains a variety of spatial information, such as photographs, movies, and panoramas, carefully handpicked by Apple to highlight the Vision Pro’s capabilities. The Spatial Gallery will provide a new and unique way to experience high-quality immersive media.
Companion iPhone app and improved Guest mode
The new Apple Vision Pro app for iPhone will make it easier to manage your device. This software allows you to queue apps and games for download, explore new spatial content, find important tips, and access device information from your iPhone.
Apple is also upgrading the Guest mode in VisionOS 2.4, making it easier to share your Vision Pro with family and friends. You’ll be able to launch Guest mode right from your iPhone or iPad and specify which applications your guests can use. Furthermore, View Mirroring with AirPlay enables you to assist others through the Vision Pro experience by presenting what they view on a larger screen.
Apple has confirmed that visionOS 2.4 will be released for the Vision Pro in April. Developers can already access the first beta version of the update.
