Google has released a significant new update to its AI assistant, which makes talks smarter and more connected.
Gemini may now recall previous chats to provide more relevant responses, according to Google’s blog post.
For example, if you asked about the Milky Way earlier this week, you may just say, “Summarise our discussion,” and Gemini will summarize it without having to go through previous chats.
This improvement extends beyond remembering preferences, allowing the assistant to refer to entire previous chats. Furthermore, you can simply examine, alter, or erase your chat history from the ‘Gemini Apps Activity’ area of your profile.
Currently, the chat recall capability is only available to Gemini Advanced subscribers on the Google One AI Premium Plan and in English. However, Google intends to make it available in more languages and more Workspace clients in the near future.
Furthermore, 9to5Google reports that Gemini Live is becoming smarter, with a better comprehension of languages, accents, and translations thanks to the latest Gemini 2.0 AI model. Multimodal capabilities, such as processing text, audio, and video, are on the way, as are screen sharing and live video streaming.
With these enhancements, Google Ai is becoming one of the most capable AI assistants, providing a deeper, more personalized experience. While competitors pose a threat, DeepSeek AI is already banned in South Korea.
