The Reacher, based on Lee Child’s best-selling book series, proved to be one of the most exciting episodes of 2022. The narrative of Jack Reacher, a former military police officer wrongfully accused of murder, was well received by both audiences and reviewers. However, considering the show’s success and the number of novels Child has already written, a second season was always a possibility. Reacher season 2 release date
Amazon didn’t waste any time in approving Reacher Season 2. Only a few days after the first season debut, the show’s makers announced a second season.
New episodes will premiere in December 2023, though a precise date has yet to be determined.
Season 2 will be available exclusively on Amazon Prime Video, as was Season 1.
The first season was inspired by Lee Child’s debut novel, Killing Floor. It was the first of 27 volumes in the Jack Reacher series, with volume 28 expected to be released in October 2023.
However, Amazon has determined that the second season of the program would cover the events of volume 11 rather than volume 2. It’s a strange move to skip 10 volumes forward, but there was probably never a plan to make each book a season in its own right. Everything that happens between volumes 2-10 should still make sense.
