According to new reports, the OnePlus Nord 3 will be released soon. A widely anticipated mid-range smartphone following the success of the Nord 2, which had significant problems. The 120 Hz frequency would eventually occur, and the charging power would be increased.
The OnePlus Nord 2 was introduced in the summer of 2021: a mid-range smartphone from OnePlus with high performance at an affordable price. The OnePlus Nord 3 might be part of the same series, after a high-end model like as the highly popular OnePlus 11. Gadgetsdata, a leaker, disclosed technical information for this forthcoming OnePlus smartphone on Twitter. Of course, this material should be treated with caution.
THE ONEPLUS NORD 3 WOULD BE ENTITLED TO 120 HZ
We regretted the lack of a 120 Hz refresh rate in our OnePlus Nord 2 review, which was limited to 90 Hz. According to Debayan Roy (Gadgetsdata), the Amoled 6.5-inch Full HD panel would be entitled to 120 Hz. Information based on earlier speculations dating back to March 2022. The leaker, however, disputes the claimed 1.5K definition.
Nothing would change in the photo department: there would be a main 50 MP photo sensor on the rear, an 8 MP sensor (which may be the ultra-wide-angle sensor), and a sensor designated as “useless” by the leaker. This is thought to be the same 2MP monochrome sensor seen in the Nord 2. The selfie sensor is reportedly 32MP.
IMPROVED PERFORMANCE
In terms of performance, the OnePlus Nord 2 will be equipped with a MediaTek processor, either the Dimensity 8100 Max or the Dimensity 8200. The first is available in the Oppo Reno 8 Pro, while the second was revealed in December of last year. The battery would have a capacity of 4500 or 5000 mAh to power everything. It could be recharged at a maximum power of 100 W, compared to the Nord 2’s 67 W.
Previous speculations said that the device will include 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. A version with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, on the other hand, is not out of the question. The maker would also include the OnePlus Nord CE 3, a cheaper counterpart to the Nord 3, in its packaging.
