Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro+ official : hard to find more complete at this price

Xiaomi, as predicted, has revealed details about its new Redmi Note 13 lineup. It is made up of five models in France, some of which are available in two variants, and ranges in price from 200 euros to over 500 euros. The most intriguing and comprehensive is the Redmi Note 13 Pro+, the first Redmi to include a curved screen and IP68 certification.

Last week, we reported in our columns on the French debut of the new Poco X6, X6 Pro, and M6 Pro. These three inexpensive gaming cellphones start at 230 euros. And the Poco X6 Pro has already arrived at the editorial office for testing, which you can expect in the coming days. While waiting for the official debut of the Xiaomi 14 in China in October 2023, here is a small consolation.

A week later, Xiaomi announces that new smartphones are coming to France. However, they are still not high-end models. This is Redmi’s brand refresh. Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi Note 13, which includes five models: the Redmi Note 13, the Redmi Note 13 5G, the Redmi Note 13 Pro, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, and the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G. Some of these smartphones are available in two configurations, for a total of eight distinct variants, including those priced between 199 and 499 euros:

  • Redmi Note 13 (6+128) : 199 €
  • Redmi Note 13 (8+256) : 249 €
  • Redmi Note 13 5G (8+256) : 299 €
  • Redmi Note 13 Pro (8+256) : 349 €
  • Redmi Note 13 Pro (12+512) : 399 €
  • Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G ( 8 + 256 ) : 399 €
  • Redmi Note 13 Pro + ( 8 + 256 ) : 469 €
  • Redmi Note 13 Pro + ( 12 + 512 ): 499 €

LESS THAN 500 EUROS, DIFFICULT TO FIND MORE COMPLETE THAN THE REDMI NOTE 13 PRO +

The 13 Pro Plus is the most interesting device in this category. It is a highly comprehensive smartphone, taking use of certain new Redmi attire: a curved screen with substantially slimmer corners and IP68 dust and water resistance. In addition, there is a large battery, very rapid charging, and a reasonably powerful platform. Here are some key details:

Redmi Note 13 Pro+

  • AMOLED screen 1.5K 120 Hz of 6.67 inches
  • Gorilla Glass Victus
  • MediaTek Dimensity 7200 processor
  • Battery 5000 mAh compatible fast charge 120 watts
  • 200 Megapixel main photo sensor with stabilizer
  • Compatible with eSIM, Bluetooth 5.3, WiFi 6
  • IP68 certification
  • 3 Updates from Android

For 70 euros cheaper, you can get the 13 Pro, which comes in 4G and 5G versions. Of course, you will miss out on the stunning details of the Pro+ edition. But the essential is kept. Here’s what you get with these two models:

  • AMOLED 120 Hz 6.67 inch curved display, FHD+ (4G version) or 1.5K (5G version)
  • Gorilla Glass Victus (5G version) or Gorilla Glass 5 (4G version)
  • MediaTek Helio G99 Ultra (4G version) or Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 (5G version)
  • Batterie 5100 mAh (version 5G) ou 5000 mAh (version 4G) compatible charge rapide 67 watts
  • Capture photo principal 200 megapixels avec stabilization
  • Compatible Bluetooth 5.2, WiFi ac et eSIM (version 5G uniquement)
  • Certification IP52
  • 3 Android updates

FOR 200 EUROS, THE REDMI NOTE 13 HAS MANY ASSETS FOR HIM

If your budget is more tighter, you may pick for a Redmi Note 13, which is available in 4G or 5G versions. Unlike the 13 Pro 4G and 5G, the 13’s two models differ less significantly. Here’s the essential details regarding these two phones:

  • AMOLED FHD+ 120 Hz 6.67 inch display
  • Gorilla Glass 5 (5G version) or Gorilla Glass 3 (4G version)
  • MediaTek Dimensity 6080 (5G version) or Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 (4G version)
  • Battery 5000 mAh compatible fast charge 33 watts
  • Main photo sensor 108 megapixels
  • Bluetooth 5.2, WiFi ac compatible
  • IP53 certification
  • 2 Updates from Android

Also, while all of these items will run on MIUI 14, they will soon transition to HyperOS, which is now available in the newest Poco. The Redmi Note 13 series will be available in France beginning January 18th. It may be found in the Xiaomi store and in the normal locations. Three accessories will accompany the smartphones at launch: the Redmi Buds 5, Pro Buds 5, and the Redmi Watch 4. These accessories cost 99 euros, with the exception of the Redmi Buds 5 (picture below), which are only 49 euros. A very competitive pricing for TWS headphones with active noise reduction. We will make sure to try some or all of these goods in the coming weeks.
