Reacher has been one of Prime Video’s most popular shows since its second season. The show’s second installment was even more intriguing and exciting than the first, and its muscular protagonist solidified his standing as a viewer magnet.
Given the success of the series and the number of novels Lee Child has written, we can be confident that the ex-military guy will be with us for a long time.

When will Reacher season 3 be released?
Reacher is unquestionably one of Amazon’s hallmark programs. No wonder it was renewed for season 3 in December 2023, even before season 2 ended.
However, the release date for the next episodes is uncertain. There was a two-year break between seasons 1 and 2, but it’s likely that fans will not have to wait as long for their favorite hero to return.

What will Reacher season 3 be about?
Season one was based on Lee Child’s first novel Killing Floor. It was the first of 28 Jack Reacher books that are now available.
However, Amazon has determined that the show’s second season would cover events from volume 11 rather than volume 2. Skipping ten volumes forward is an odd option, but it seems unlikely that each book was intended to be its own season.
Given that the creators aren’t translating Lee Child’s works in chronological order, it’s unclear which novel they’ll tackle in season 3. However, in an interview with ComicBook.com, Alan Ritchson said that the new episodes will depict Reacher in a completely different setting and under new circumstances:
And we get to enjoy Reacher in a new world. It may not have anything to do with family, with his past, he’s just living that adventure out and that’s kind of the direction that we’ve gone and it seems to really be working.
Which cast members are confirmed for season 3 of Reacher?
The formula for Lee Child’s works is that Jack Reacher is always on the move, exploring new locations and meeting new people. As a result, only Alan Ritchson as Reacher, Maria Sten as Frances Neagley, and Malcolm Goodwin as Oscar Finlay remained from season 1.
Season 3 will most certainly feature several new faces; however, Amazon has not provided any details regarding the cast. Alan Ritchson will reprise his role as Jack Reacher.
