Google Pixel 11 Pro Matte Black Finish Leaks in Close-Up Photos — Is It Called Obsidian or Midnight Haze? We’re just over a week away from the official Pixel 11 launch, but the leaks keep coming — the latest being a close-up look at the Pixel 11 Pro’s new matte black finish.

With few major upgrades expected this year (it is 2026, after all), the Pixel 11 colors may end up being the most interesting part of the lineup. And leaker Evan Blass has now given us the clearest look yet at the matte black Pro — good news for anyone who’s never been a fan of the shiny frames on past Pro models.

This paragraph reads well as-is — it’s body copy, not a headline, so SEO mainly comes down to keeping the keyword phrases natural (which you’ve done) rather than restructuring. A couple of small polish suggestions if you want them:

This will be good news for some people, as Pro models typically come with a glossy frame — but the Pixel 11 Pro bucks that trend. At least, it does for the black model, which Google normally calls Obsidian, though it’s tipped to be called “Midnight Haze” this year.

The official-looking image gives a detailed look at the frame’s powder-coated finish, matched by metal surrounding the camera bar. It’s reminiscent of the Oura Ring 5 in “Stealth,” and the finish will also be available in the larger XL size.

This is straightforward body copy too — just a couple of small clarity/SEO tweaks:

The other colors — reportedly Light Fog, Pine, and Dune — will all reportedly feature shiny frames in silver, brass, and gold tones respectively, if previous leaks prove accurate.

Blass has also shared a good look at the Dune colorway, with its bright pink/orange rear cover, along with other shots seemingly confirming various Pixel 11 Pro specs and features.

Primarily the Pixel Glow lightwhich could be called “HiLight” instead — shown in multi-colored and blue modes, as well as switched off. The leak also suggests the following:

  • Tensor G6 chipset
  • Gemini Intelligence
  • Increase to 120x for Pro Zoom
  • Possible new mode for capturing video and photo together
  • Possible improved Night Sight

All will be revealed on August 12 — though there’s little left for Google to actually announce at this point, especially with the Pixel Tag already having leaked.
