Amazon Prime Day 2023: The best tech deals

Amazon Prime Day is one of the world’s largest sales occasions, with the retail giant providing offers and discounts that equal Black Friday – and it now occurs twice a year.

The festival lasts two days and ends today, July 12. The only catch is that you must be an Amazon Prime customer to participate, with the greatest prices reserved for those who subscribe to Amazon’s subscription program.

It is, nonetheless, worthwhile. So far, we’ve noticed significant savings on smart home gadgets, computers, phones, wearables, and, of course, Amazon’s own goods. You may also join up for a free Amazon Prime trial to have access to the offers without committing to a full subscription.

Amazon’s competitors aren’t going to let this opportunity pass them by, so several are offering copycat offers – wonderful news if you’re not a Prime member.

And the savings you’ll discover here aren’t just from Amazon; we look at all of the big shops as well. More outstanding selections may also be found in our dedicated bargains area.

When is Prime Day?

It began yesterday and will end today, July 11-12, 2023. Then, later in the year, possibly around October, we’ll see a different sale event.

Which countries get Prime Day?

While Amazon is a global phenomenon, Prime Day is not, with a strong emphasis on Europe, as well as the United States and China. Still, it’s not a niche – these are the nations who participated in Prime Day 2022, and a similar list is anticipated for 2023:

Austria, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and the United States are among the countries represented.

What are the best Prime Day deals?

It’s tough to forecast which offers will be the biggest and greatest each year, but prior Prime Days give us a solid idea – and Amazon has already hinted at some of the deals we may expect.

Amazon devices and services are definite

There isn’t much science here. Amazon will very certainly feature discounts on Echo, Fire, Kindle, and Ring on Prime Day, as they have in the past.

That, however, will not be the case. Amazon has previously provided free three-month trials of Audible and Kindle Unlimited, as well as four months of Amazon Music Unlimited, as well as discounts on Prime Video and Amazon Fresh purchases, and even free games through Prime Gaming.

What we’d really want to see is an extension of the existing 30-day Prime trial period.

How to get the best Prime Day deals

With so many things available, it might be difficult to decide what to buy and whether you should buy it. Here are a few things to remember:

  • Make a shortlist of the products you really want and start looking at average prices now, and Amazon’s current price
  • Ensure you’re already logged into your Prime Account so there’s no fumbling around on the day – sign up for the 30-day free trial if you don’t have Amazon Prime
  • Make sure your payment and shipping information is up to date now to be ready to make quick purchases on the day.
  • Consider turning on Amazon’s 1-click purchase option so you can beat the masses to the deal as soon as it’s announced
  • Use the Watch this Deal button on upcoming deals you see on Amazon’s website, to make sure you don’t miss them.
  • Join the Waitlist for products that say 100% claimed, because people often change their minds and don’t buy. You’ll get a notification to alert you if more become available.
  • Remember to compare prices against rivals

What is Amazon Prime Day?

Amazon Prime Day is a huge sales event that provides unique deals to Prime members. To commemorate its 20th anniversary, Amazon held its inaugural Prime Day in the summer of 2015. Prime Day 2022 was the company’s seventh such event, with the inaugural Prime Early Access Sale joining it.

Customers must have a Prime membership to take advantage of Prime Day specials or bargains. Here’s our step-by-step guide to joining up, or you can head to Amazon right now to start your 30-day free trial.

The Amazon Prime program began as a method to acquire unlimited next-day delivery, but it rapidly expanded to include other perks such as access to Amazon’s Netflix rival service, Prime Video, Twitch gaming, Prime Now, and more.

How to get Amazon Prime

The caveat, as previously stated, is that you must be an Amazon Prime member to access the bargains.

Remember that Amazon Prime provides a 30-day free trial, and even free trial Prime members may take advantage of Amazon Prime Day specials. You can join up for a free trial of Amazon Prime here.

To avoid getting charged, cancel your membership before your free trial finishes, unless you find yourself liking it. you can read everything here.
