Nokia has not discontinued smartphones, but it has also not stopped flip phones. The Nokia 2780 Flip arrives in the United States with impressive features and a reasonable pricing.
Nokia is still producing flip phones in 2022, as seen by the Nokia 2780 Flip. It is a feature phone, a simple mobile phone aimed for the American market, with an attractive pricing.
TRUE AUTONOMY AND RADIO :
The independence of this sort of phone is appealing. On the product website for the 2780 Flip, the manufacturer claims up to 18 hours of standby time. On the call side, it’s slightly less impressive: nearly 7 hours on a 3G call and 3.4 hours on a 4G call. The phone is powered by a 1450 mAh battery that is replaceable, which is too unusual these days not to mention.
The FM radio, rather from the one we listen to over the Internet, is one of the unique features of this flip phone that we (sadly) no longer find on our modern smartphones. Because there is an audio connector, the radio may be listened to with wired headphones; Bluetooth is also available.
You may, however, listen to your music locally, although the 2780 Flip has only 512 MB of storage. A storage capacity that, thankfully, can be expanded with a microSD card up to 32 GB.
A SMALL NOKIA PHONE THAT ALWAYS UNFOLDS :
Although Google apps are accessible on this phone, it does not run Android, but rather KaiOS 3.1, a non-touch phone operating system based on Firefox OS. The Qualcomm 215 CPU and 4 GB of RAM are found on the hardware side.
It fits in all pockets because to its compact size and weight of 131.2 g. Its folded length is 11 cm and a few, while unfolded length is 20 cm. Enough to get to the 2.7-inch screen, which has a resolution of 320 by 240 pixels. If all you want to do is check the time, the Nokia 2780 Flip offers a 1.77-inch external screen with a resolution of 160 by 128 pixels.
While there is no selfie camera on this flip phone, it does include a 5MP camera on the back. We can’t capture transcendent images with it, but it may be effective when combined with an LED flash.
The Nokia 2780 Flip will be available in the United States beginning November 15 for $90. Red and blue will be available for purchase.
